There are 22 apartments which vary in size, with the majority being suitable for both single and double occupancy. All have private hallway, large store area, lounge, bathroom including shower and bath, one bedroom and fully fitted kitchen with integrated cooker, washer dryer, fridge, freezer and integrated microwave.

The accommodation which is served by a lift (adequate for wheelchairs), is on the ground, first and second floors. Most ground floor apartments have French doors leading to gardens and most apartments on upper floors have French doors opening onto a balcony. There is central heating throughout with panel radiators, all served by a communal boiler house. Central heating and hot water is included in the monthly rent amount.

There is a large communal lounge/activities room with adjacent kitchen for the exclusive use of residents.

The door entry security system to the block enables residents to admit their personal visitors.

There are also 14 leasehold bungalows on site and 3 penthouse apartments. These are owner occupied, and leaseholders pay an annual service charge and ground rent. Residents living in these are also part of the assisted living scheme.

The Trust provides Scheme Managers, Maria and Tracy, on site from Monday – Saturday, 9am-4pm. They are there to offer help to residents regarding most matters, and also assist with shopping and collecting prescriptions. The scheme managers work closely with families and social services, to support those residents who wish to stay in their homes as long as possible.

The Scheme Managers are unable to offer nursing care to residents but they can help with arranging doctors appointments or visits from health care professionals. The Scheme Managers are also responsible for the daily running of the development.

There are a wide range of planned social activities arranged for residents by the Scheme Managers on site, for example visits to theatres, gardens, and in-house entertainment including keep fit. Residents enjoy barbecues on-site during the summer months, guest speakers from time to time and coffee mornings each week. Maria and Tracy also provide a prepared lunch every Monday and Saturday in the communal lounge which is very popular.
